The facts are much more tricky... US did not recognize this record as well few records before...

BTW the English translation of the name Destriero is "steed or war horse": it has three General Electric aero engines, while an FA-18 Hornet jet fighter gets by with only two!
On an almost completely flat sea Destriero can accelerates to 59 knots.
I worked some more time on the drawing and this is the definetely version:

I first read about Destriero in Italian Nautica magazine(Greek version,translated from Italian) when I was 12 years old and I am glad that someone decided to design it for Shipbucket! Thank you Lazer One !
