Designed by the Norwegian company ENI as anchor rope for the new Goliat Platform. The core is made of polyester fiber and it has a coat of Dyneema to make it resistant to cuts. the longest one is going to be 1250 meters long and there is going to be 14 of them to anchor the platform down (totall 13.000 meters). The polyester rope has a circumference of 90 cm, diameter of 29 centimeters and a tensile strength of 2579 tons. Every meter of rope weighs around 50 kilograms. Thise make it to the strongest rope in the world today.
