Nice drawing!! As already said: it's nice to see some "modern" French ships (I say "modern" because she was planned to be decommissioned after 2004 initially).
Just a little mistake: the Aconit is not a F67 class but a F65 (previous C65) class.
In details, the Aconit was the first (and only) ship of the C65 class. She was accepted in active service in March 1973, with hull number F703.
In January 1974, the hull number was changed to D609.
In 1988, the C65 class became the F65 class.
The F67 class (previously C67) was the Tourville ASW destroyer class, wich design took in considerations the problems of the C65/F65 class.
About the Aconit, her early decommissioning meant that the fourth Lafayette class' ship Jauréguiberry changed her name in Aconit in order to keep this great name in service (it's a shame we lose this tradition when the Jeanne d'Arc went off service last year
).
If the D609 was decommissioned in 2004 as planned, it's very plausible that the name went to a Horizon AAW destroyer.
