The ID of a sunken submarine off the Goto Islands has been CONFIRMED to be that of I-58, the submarine that sank the U.S.S. Indianapolis. A recent expedition IDed all of the scuttled submarines off the Goto Islands, including I-58, I-47, I-36, RO-50, and I-402.
