Ok, I am finally ready I think to start work on a little AU I've been messing with for a while, but a quick question.... Or two... 1. Do maps have to be drawn to a particular scale? 2. Are there templates that maps have to be placed in? ( ie with scale etc) Any advice always appreciated..... |

All the maps are drawn up by the people who do them, there are no templates or Shipbucket standards I'm aware of. It seems like most people just modify Wikipedia or NationStates/etc templates. |

And for my Republic of Corpus Christi AU, used a real-life map from OpenStreetMap. |

As klagldsf says there is no standard, popular ways of producing them however include Wikipedia commons maps and modifying Google maps.
