Sometime between 0300 and 0500 GMT on Friday Nov. 16, the forum went down. There were a series of technical glitches that came up. Right now however, they should be all fixed. Going forward, the staff will be evaluating ways to avoid such outages in the future. Thank you all for your patience with this. Sincerely, TimothyC Edit: feel free to post any questions here. |

I was like a junky trying to get his fix when the forum was down. BTW I didn't have any problems with Photobucket at all during the same period. |

One thing I noticed during the outage is that the shipbucket forums twitter thing hasn't been updated since December last year. Maybe it could be a good way to keep users informed during outages? |

It's an officially unofficial feed. Yeah, it's something that got set up to establish a presence and I forget about it most of the time. |

Well we managed to survive from sofar the biggest technical failure in our history. Many Thanks to Timothy and John Wood for working on the issue and solving the proplem. Like in real life, we tend to rely on the cozyness of everything working and not realizing how we need proper back-up and technical help alongside with proper communication to the customers (you fellow forumlingers in this case) about the proplem. Funny thing that I work with these issues on my dayjob but at my own backyard things went berserk. But we live and learn. Hopefully. Golly |

That was a very nervous "moment", but thankfully it's already behind us. Many thanks for our great Administrative Team for doing all They could and as fast as They could to fix it all. |

Our thanks to Tim and John Wood for getting the forum up again. I spent the days otherwise engaged, but was a bit concerned that some 'Bucketeers' might be experiencing cold turkey and beginning to develop facial twitches |
