Who drew this? Could the artist please get it in a template so it can be reuploaded and not deleted? |

Also - I have no info on a Cliffs Victory 2. Is it possible that was just a refit? |

CV 2 was a proposed refit, it is a real one and a never where. I don't understand how it could be in upload. I must have done something wrong.

Cliffs Victory II never existed or was proposed as a real ship. It was a fanciful design for a model painting contest on Boatnerd held back in 2002-ish. Look at this link and click on "design by Robert York" to see where this originated: http://www.boatnerd.com/pictures/special/footer/ and: http://www.boatnerd.com/pictures/specia ... -ryork.jpg The other Cliffs Victory is closer to what the real Cliffs Victory looked like, but on a 1000 foot hull, the real one was 716 feet after her last lengthening in 1957. Here is a link all about the Cliffs Victory: http://www.boatnerd.com/pictures/histor ... efault.htm Hope this helps ~John |
