There have been numerous books written featuring modern and near future submarines. Several with carriers or battleships as the featured ships. One (so far that I've found) featured the arsenal ship.
But has anyone writtened a novel or short story where one of the new US LCS has been a player?

Haven't seen Cars 2 yet (surprisingly, since my 3 year old loves Cars) but don't they sink Tony?

That's what Wikipedia says.

That'd be my source. I've considered writing a short-story about the Freedom on a pirate patrol, but I am not sure I could do it justice, having not been aboard a Navy ship in years, I'm not sure I'd still remember the basic protocols for some of the commands and the like. Of course, I could wing it and see how it goes?
