Post subject:  Questions about the AU.

As some of you have seen, I have made a few designs in the AU under the title "Fallout Universe". However, I wish to create another AU that could be a bit easier to work with and not have as many constraints. I understand some may not like the AU, but I find it to be a lot of fun and really allows me to put my creativity to the test. Now to get to my point: I wish to create a history for my AU nation. Where would be the best place to post that history? I'm thinking it would be the AU forum, but I don't want to scolded for doing the wrong thing. Obviously it seems that I really don't know all the ins and outs of shipbucket yet and I am simply trying to understand how to properly post my designs and ideas (as to not create any upset with other members) As always, I appreciate any help! :)

It would be appropriate to post in the AU forum if and only if:

1.) you can keep it brief and to at most two posts or so

2.) you can post ship drawings to support it

Otherwise I recommend Off-Topic

Not Off-Topic since it's Shipbucket related.

If in doubt post in the Beginners forum. You can always ask the mods to move it later.

if you actually post (SB) ship drawings in your AU thread, nothing prevents you to add on as much related information as you wish.
However, the staff and rules naturally preserves rigth to intervene if the sole purpose of the thread is about AU and Alternative history or other offtopic content. Then we migth move/close the thread if the ship drawings are not appearing or clearly getting only 2nd priority.

Also, if the discussion there generates into politically motivated flame-figths, the thread migth get closed/edited.

Nothing naturally prevents people to post their stuff about their imaginary countries in other internet boards more related to that sort of stuff. Shipbucket forum's priority is on SB (and FD) scale drawings.
