I am curious about much difference in stopping power there was between pre WW1 UK armor and pre WW2 armor?

Might want to look into Navweaps.com articles on such things, table of penetration is a worthwhile comparison tool

Not sure, that there is a "general" article/chart summarizing the UK naval armor evolution between 1900s-1930s era
it's up to you to read all the articles around the web, and to do your own analyzes/summary tables
