I'm giving up on this 1916 proposal for what would later become the Colorado-class:

Consider this one up for grabs

Is this a WIP?

Why do you give up? It's almost completed!

The biggest problem has been a lack of adequate references, and consequently an unclear direction of how to add detail. I feel there are more than enough people here capable of "extrapolating" such detail accurately.

Well yes, the most frustrating task is in getting the details right without much in the way of resources; more than anything I find this really puts me off. That said, my advice would be to still press on and reach a point where what you have is 'fit for purpose'; that is, it gives a reasonable impression of the ship. You can always update the drawing when you find more resources :)

well after the drawing is added with shading and shaddow, there isen't that much detail that it acutally needs anymore. Few rail or ladder in the obvious places and you pretty much have good drawing on your hands.
