In June 1912 SMS Moltke, SMS Stettin and SMS Bremen, as a cruiser division, made a goodwill visit to the United States. Back in 2018, when I first drew the series on Moltke, I wanted to draw him as he would have appeared at Hampton Roads, Virginia on 3rd June, but there is only one photo showing Moltke and not all the flags can be made out due to the way they fall.

I would have thought that there would have been more photos of the visit to Hampton Roads, local newspapers or official reports etc but I can't find anything. Does anyone know how I can find out what the flag signal said?

Thanks,

Mike
