Ship-related, so I posted it here. USS LST-325 made a stop in Decatur, AL, which is only about 2 hours from me, so I thought I'd take a day and go see her. Glad I did...most interesting. Gained a whole new respect for that type of vessel, especially since I've sunk quite a few of them on Silent Hunter IV. ;) One thing's for certain, I can't imagine being at General Quarters on one of these...yikes.

Yes, she is a beautiful ship, I got to see it when it made a stop in Charleston West Virginia a few years ago.
