Cross-posting in case my gravedig in the other thread doesn't catch enough folks' attention. I found two browser extensions to get around the Great Photobucket Hotlink Racket of 2017.

For Chrome:

I suggest not only adding these if you use one of those browsers, but also saving any valuable images and re-uploading them with a different service (e.g. Postimg, Imgur, DeviantArt, etc.) in case either of these stops working.

It seems that a new management team has taken over at Photobucket.
All the previously blocked images have been restored as of today and a 95% cheaper membership fee has been introduced. So this has gone some way to restoring the image plague, but it looks like some ships are still resized rather than 100% scale.
