Heh, I only have paint whether at my work (where I am right now) or at home...

But I do appreciate that you can see the nuances that I was after. We might get to a Gentleman's Agreement after all!

Yea. I think this generally is issue where we just have to admit that there is atleast two paths where one can go and still remain in SB's limits.

What if you 'washed out' or desaturatded it, leaving it grey but tinged with the buff?

Colo, that's actually pretty nice. You did a very good number in muting the hue of the railings down, or as Charwhick said: "washed" it down. I definitely can live with your compromise!

yes, thats what I ment of "unbrightening" the railings. Compromise indeed, but it looks also good
