Many moons before your time, we had Mr. Bond grace the forums. I played a few times, but I never had the time I needed to put into it.

I had (IIRC) the third version of the paper and pencil game plus some supplements.
Also had the computer version for the Commodore 64. Had an epic battle of 6 (or was it ten?) Perry class FFG's vs a Kirov class. Lost all but one FFG but still sank the Kirov.

If this is the same Harpoon from ROTC I had a blast with this. Many a night defending the GIUK gap.
