2015 will be the year The STS Young Endeavour conducts her next circumnavigation since 1992. She has been in drydock, receiving a major overhaul to this venerable little ship, her masts are to be replaced, her hull checked and repainted, new generators fitted, engines rebuilt. I've put my name down as part of the YE alumni and I recommend any Australians aged 8-30 to apply for a great experience. The ship will be travelling around the globe across 12 months, visiting places such as Gallipoli, Denmark, England, the Netherlands, Rio, Cape Town.
Next thing to do I guess is to wait for her to emerge from her refit and draw her afresh

Are they going to join the Tall Ships Races?

I'll look forward to seeing her in real life then.
