40C plus temps right through the region for five days now.

A Fifo mate of mine, Fly in fly out miner, had 48.9C on his work sites and some blokes saw 60C.
Numerous collapses because some didn't take keep hydrated.
More houses lost and 17 fires still out of control.

Glad that the heatwave is finally over here myself. Without air con the days and nights were painful, not to mention having lost power numerous times due to the grid being overstretched.
