I say build it. That way we can blow any asteroids that might come our way. We even get some planatery defense should aliens appear. Shoot first, aske questions later. |

Well, I am a Star Wars fan, but to be honest, having a planet-destroying laser in orbit would make me a bit.... uneasy. It only takes one tired soldier to lay on the wrong switch and... As for the Eclipse, I don't think they'll build one either. Having only a continent-destroying superlaser might be bad hurting the poor ozone layer when used.
