The crew of the replica ship HMS Bounty, built for the 1960 "Mutiny on the Bounty" movie and also used in at least one of the "Pirates of the Carribean" movies, had to abandon ship and were picked up by the Coast Guard off of Cape Hatteras North Carolina. Lots of ships on the bottom there. News Article Good news that the crew is safe, but sad that this may be the last we see of this Tall Ship.

Very sad. Seems the ship sank but the crew got off OK. |

Now they're saying that they got 14 of the crew, but 2 are still missing. |

It seems that she apparently capsized whilst the crew were embarking the life boats which might account for the two missing crew members

We lost unique ship, this is a sad day for every sailor. Also, I hope those two crew members will be found alive. |

Well its usual to look for a weather window before you make the trip. Its not like the storm came out of nowhere. A sad loss of life. |
