Hey guys,

I'm trying to find any information I can about the set of four COGOG gas turbines the Slava Class (Project 1164 Atlant)) uses.

Wikipedia states
Quote:
M70 cruise gas turbines, 2 cruise steam turbines, 2 exhaust gas boilers, 4 x M8KF Gas turbines, 2 Shafts, 130,000 shp
...But I've crawled through the 'tubes and can't find anything on those turbines. I seem to have found a later version of them manufactured by what I would imagine is a successor company to one of the soviet design bureaus - the Ukranian 'Zorya-Mashproekt' - but even then I can't find information on the turbines themselves or the specifications themselves.

I would ideally like specifications for the M8KF and M70 gas turbines - most importantly the Megawatts they deliver.

Ta!

Direct conversion gives 16.78MW for the M70s and 7.457MW for the M8KFs. Each I should hasten to add.

Sadly not. I had the numbers reasonably to hand through looking at both the Slavas and Udaloys for an ongoing project.

Just in case you haven't already found it: the specs page for some gas turbines (including the one used on the Project 1164 Atlant) from the manufacturer's web-site:
