How do you depict these in SB? I suspect there are some hole looking things at or below the waterline, but rather inconvieniently, the only vessel I can think of offhand that uses this system, the Valour class, is a waterline only drawing.

They are usually placed in the stern in order to keep the back pressure manageable.
It should also be noted that they aren't actually under the waterline.

So, I'm guessing I need a circular valve cover, roughly at the waterline. I take it such things should not be drawn in black, rather a color based on the hull color?

Interesting reading! Maybe you can help me with another question that's holding up my AU vessels. I can't find anything resembling visible intakes on the A-100 and A-200 Class vessels that have drowned exhausts. (Not all of the series do)

Logic says they have to be present somewhere, but neither drawings nor photos have offered any clue. Specificially, I've been looking at the Valour Class, but it's a mystery. Where are the things? I'm redoing my Amphitrite Klasse as a vessel featuring this tech, but have hit a stumbling block there.

I haven't been able to find it either, but I did find two pictures that shows where the exhaust is placed.

There looks like there's some sort of grate looking thing on the helopad. Seems rather small, but you don't suppose that's part of the system, do you?

Nope, I don't think so. It's too small and it would be an excellent way to get FOD in your turbine.

The grate is part of the helicopter winch down system. Lets them operate in higher sea states than if they tried to land normally.

Confirmed, this is the real case of that roaster.

In the Dutch navy the Heli's have an hook wich can be attached...
