. At about eleven o'clock yesterday, the auxiliary vessel was attacked by small Alakrantxu
boats manned by armed men sailing in territorial waters
Tanzania, about eighty miles from the coast of the African state. The ship bermeotarra
activated the security protocol for cases of pirate siege and took flight.

The Pirates began the chase to near its prey. Given this situation,
Private security officers fired shots until finally intimidating
governments fought attackers. The incident ended without any regrets
personal misfortunes or materials. "Fortunately it has only been a scare" assured
from the shipping company, Etxebastar Fleet.

The boat performs support work for the tuna Alakrana, notorious for the
long kidnapping. The attack yesterday ends a period of relative calm in
the freezer tuna fleet that has not recorded incidents of pirate groups. The
latest attack against ships registered tuna came at the end of last March
when the fishing Draco escaped a kidnapping attempt in international waters.

The ratio of interest tuna pirate attacks along the current year
complete with the incidents recorded by Felipe Ruano on 1 March and the siege
Albatun against the two in January.

During this time of year the monsoons are blowing strongly in the Indian Ocean causing
significant deterioration in the sea. In these circumstances, pirate groups
usually leave the area where the tuna fleet task to move your freezer
criminal activity to calmer waters, near the African coast and the Gulf of
Aden.

The Alakrantxu trying to escape the storm that hit the Indian Ocean and their approach to
coast of Tanzania was caught by pirates. "The situation has not changed and groups
pirates still lurk every ship sailing in the Indian Ocean. The decrease in
number of attacks due to the presence of private security agents on board our
ships. Moreover, the problem of piracy still present, "say from Etxebastar
Fleet.
