I'm having a rethink; and I've now reached the age when that is a right, not an entitlement: as in....I can't quite remember...oh yes, when you go into a room a forget what you came in for :lol: So, forget about any other piston engined fighter, slaps forehead, of course, there can only be one...The DeHavilland Hornet. same power plants as the Mosquito (actually slim line Merlins) on a narrow fueslage, and all the qualities of the Mosquito parred down into a killing machine; by comparison the P38 is a tractor. so chaps time to wind this none up and admit I'm right.... ;)
