oh and you want to use this link:

https://www.dropbox.com/install

If I am not wrong, it will install dropbox on you'r computer, and that dropbox is connected with dropbox.com and if you have dropbox app on you'r mobile, you can get it there, or use it to sync you'r mobile with dropbox and you'r computer.

I know about importance of using "Public" folder. Already successfuly substituted several files.
As for the Dropbox folder on my computer (not mentioning my mobile phone) - that's one thing I'm deliberately not going to do - don't want any of such stuff anywhere nearby. ;)
Just a normal uploading files to the www site.

Proplem with dropbox seems to be at least for me is that despite having the public folder and doing exactly as the instructions in the last page descriped, the picture doesen't show on when I post it on this (or any) forums.

It seems (to me) that bare minimum for it to work is that:
a) folder must be named "Public"
b) in the shared link the "www.dropbox.com" must be replaced with "dl.dropboxusercontent.com"
c) in the shared link all the stuff that's after the end of the filename itself (XYZ.png........) must be removed.

So, for example, the Dropbox share link:
https://www.dropbox.com/ blah-blah-blah /pc_pr.205.9_stenka.png?dl=0

must be changed into:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/ blah-blah-blah /pc_pr.205.9_stenka.png

that is because officially the public folder is no longer available for new users. you can use dropbox with the extra work, or don't use it if you did not use it when the public folder was still available ;)

I heard it was because of usage of dropbox as CDN, I think it might have with some type of unwanted data sharing, specially after all those funny law USA have forced on the internett!!
