I just got a new laptop last night (with a big help from my parents). It'll take me a while to get used to it, but I hope to be drawing soon. I'm downgrading from a 17.3" gaming laptop to a small 13.3 touchscreen 2-in-1 laptop (with a touch screen and a fully folding screen to convert into a semi-tablet). Windows 8 is proving to be a little of a pain, but Windows 10 is coming out sometime in the near future and I'll upgrade. Other than that, it's quite cool!

It take some time to get use to Windows 8, but when you do.... fun!

I agree. It's actually kind of nice and in some ways better than Windows 7.

Always nice with a new BIOS battery...

a small trick, if you can't remember the BIOS password. disconnect the computer from any electricity, remove the battery and try to turn on the computer without electricity. BIOS password should then reset, Specially on old computers... from there you can get in to DOS and delete Windows password, Specially on those old DOS based Windows like W-98, W-2000 etc. I have done it to an W-Vista and an Windows server.... The admin at that work place was giving me the finger at that time....
