Though if the developer is Paradox then I don't see that happening, they are the king of spergy over-detailed games.
ugah! it takes rather genuinely geeky mind to get into paradox's games to appriciate their full beuty...

Absolutely... took me several months to fully understand and master Victoria 2, and even then I'm not entirely sure that I could beat an opponent in the game. Lol.

I'm just glad there is a company that makes good wargames.
I think that next paycheck I'm going to have to expand my selection of their games... this one looks awesome.

I play it every so often but I'd rather just do something mindless if I'm going to play games. If I want to really make myself think and be on my toes then I play some ArmA2. ;)

best paradox title is definetly Europa Universalis 3 with all the expansions, I think its good balance between mindless micromanaging and making actull sense, great for alternative history bums atleast.

I agree, I have had a good go at EU3 and HOI3.

After playing the Arctic Circle demo, I'm thinking about buying it, seems pretty good to me. It is definitely a Shipbucket fan game!

@ kladsgf: the fact is that the game doesn't need good graphics.
Sure it does. But depending on how much the final cost of this game is I'll give them slack. Hell if it's really cheap it'll make a nice birthday present to myself.

That's about a third of what a high profile game usually costs when it first hits the shelves around here.
