It's now 1:35pm US CST, about 6 hrs after the first 767 hit the WTC.
I was then living in Sweden and like Golly surfing the net, oblivious of the horrible events shaping that day. At 3:15 GMT I was phoned by a friend who urged me to turn on the TV. After that everything seemed surreal that day. Later that day, when it was already evening in the US I received a call from a lady friend in Charleston, WV expressing her concern that her dad, a federal employee might be in harm's way, because of the incident at Shanksville, PA. Late that night I wrote on the opened up discussion board at my online community that we all now where Americans, that the attack was directed against all of us. Needless to say, the following weeks I was among those who loudest argued for a Swedish active role on the side of the US in the forthcoming war in Afghanistan...
