This is the last of a series of films with the title 'The Big Broadcast'. For this iteration the setting was a TransAtlantic speed race between two ocean liners 'Colossal' (The model is based on the legendary French liner 'Normandie'.) and 'Gigantic' (Based off the 1930s proposals of Norman Bel-Geddes for a streamlined Atlantic liner.). The films main claim to later fame is that it contains the original performance of 'Thanks for the Memories', it also features the 'last stand' of commedian W.C. Fields, who left the employ of Paramount Studios the way he entered it, cheating at Pool...

One or both ships might be worth the Shipbucket treatment.
