Husband; I lost my wife, she went shopping at 10am and hasn't come back yet.
Inspector; What is her height ?
Husband; I never checked.
Inspector; Slim or large ?
Husband; I would say medium.
Inspector; Colour of eyes ?
Husband; Never noticed !
Inspector; Colour of hair ?
Husband; Err blonde I think.
Inspector; What was she wearing ?
Husband; Not sure if it was a dress or jeans and a tee shirt.
Inspector; Well sir can you tell me what you were doing at the time you noticed your wife was missing ?
Husband; When she when out I settled myself down with a full pot of steaming coffee, a full packet of fags and while I was looking around the net I came across this really good official plan of HMS Irresistable and I couldn't resist it. It was just saying in a seductive voice draw me. So I did a google image and managed to find a wonderful website with loads of good quality scans taken from all aspects of the ship. Close up's the lot. So I downloads the all and studied them for a few hours and then took the images and resized them in paint to the correct SB scale of 2 pixels per foot. That is after checking by 3 different sources the correct overall length.
After that I made another pot of coffee, had a another fag and started the outline of the ship in red, etc. Going great guns I was.
Inspector; So what time did you notice her missing sir ?
Husband; Oh it must have been about midnight I suppose. The computer crashed on me and I hadn't saved my work. So I called out for her to ask what was dinner and she wern't there so I had to make it my bloody self.
At this the man breaks down into uncontrolable sobs.
Inspector; Don't worry sir I'm sure our computer experts will be able to recover your drawings when they search your PC to verify your story.

Oh no, I hope none of your WIPs wee lost, a true tragic story, not a laughing matter at all.

No amazing the nice Inspector man was as good as his word, even got a lift home in a police car. Happy days.
