Hey guys, Iv'e been on a break for a short while and my progress with the Kongos and Yamatos has slowed. I am here to show you why that is. Our dear friend Alvama is the trailblazer who first brought about the awe of FD ships. His drawings are what inspired this. I wanted this to be a suprise when I finished it, but that will take too long. This one started as a far fetched idea that is now developing, though it WILL take a significant amount of time to complete. I present to you, the source of headache. FD YAMATO 1945 Spoiler!! What is shown here are the parts that have the most development. Things are subject to change. |

<wet blanket> The problem with this idea is that without something like a builder's plan and lots of high resolution images, there is going to be a fair amount of guess work. </wet blanket> |

Hence why I am calling it the headache. Im trying to find every image of detail, especially on the 1/10th model to get the best possible rendition.

Do you have access to a copy of Skulski's Anatomy of the Ship volume about Yamato? |
