Based at a never were helicopter but modfied with own ideas, so this will be an own design

Looks like an attempt to create a competitor to the Hind. And from the looks of the users, it was marketed to the poorer nations allied with the USSR.

Yakolev jumping in and providing attack/assault helicopters to nations that may not have wanted or been able to afford Mi-24s.
