Post subject:  Aircraft of The Falklands Conflict - a preview...
This is a preview of what I am currently working on (the title of this thread is pretty self-explanatory). Full details can be found on my worklist. Please feel free to comment, criticise suggest ideas or offer help!

Here are two examples of the principal carrier-borne attack aircraft that saw action on both sides during the conflict.


Sea Harrier FRS Mk1 of 800 Naval Air Squadron, based on HMS Invincible. Armed with two sidewinder missiles and drop tanks for combat air patrols in the exclusion zone.

A-4Q Skyhawk of 3 Escuadrilla Aeronaval de Caza y Ataque based on ARA Veinticinco de Mayo. Armed with 500lb gravity bombs (Not too visible) and drop tanks for naval strike sorties against the British fleet.

Something to do with the Belgrano? I don't normally enable cookies from other websites by the way...
