I've mentioned that there might be some postscripts to this thread.
Here's the first of them: flying testbed for the horizontal stabilized for the "152" aircraft, based on Il-14.

Since I posted the entry about East German never-weres (wow, it's already over a year ago :? ) some new interesting materials have been made available on Secretprojects. And here's the result of their availability. ;)

Around 1960-1961 a series of small twin-engined aircraft was designed in VEB Flugzeugwerke Dresden. Their purpose was support of agriculture - they were crop dusters and light transports in various configurations.

Already before, in 1956, study works were made, both in VEB Flugzeugwerke Dresden and Dresden Technical University for small jet trainer powered by French Marbore engines (don't ask me how they were going to obtain them). Although in publications quoted on Secretprojects projects shown below are mentioned - and named - separately, I wouldn't be surprised if they were parts of the same program.

The SP series are a beauty!

That Strahltrainer has something from the PZL TS-11 Iskra and Fouga CM.170 Magister.

Indeed, Strahltrainers were designed around the same engines as Magister.

@Hood
There are still several other interesting designs on Secretprojects, like "160" and "SP-022" jet airliners, but data on their dimensions is rather lacking, but I hope that over time I'll be able to add them too. :(

Another small addition - this time some real life civilian aircraft.

Hoensch FSS-100 Tourist was one of the very few actually built East German aircraft - a very small, twin seat sports plane. It was first flown in 1962 but unfortunately series production did not begun and prototype was used as glider tug for years to come.

Some East German gliders and motogliders.
Nagema Patriot was GDR's first domestically designed glider (although not the first to be manufactured in GDR, as some pre-war German designs were back in production since around 1949), built in 1952.
Lommatzsch FES-530 Lehrmeister was two-seat training glider produced in considerable quantity for GST.
Lommatzsch LoM-55/57/58 Libelle was a family of high-performance gliders series produced in late 1950s.
Lommatzsch LoM-59 LoMeise was a training glider built in short series.
Lommatzsch LoM-61 Favorit was last East German glider, also built in short series. After the Soviet demand to cease aircraft manufacture in GDR, the VEB Apparatebau Lommatzsch limited its production to wooden crates.
Landmann LA-16 v-1 Lerche was East Germany's first motoglider. Sadly, the prototype crashed in 1957.
Landmann LA-16 v-2 Heidelerche was an improvement of Lerche design.
Landmann LA-17 was two seat motoglider meant as testbed for certain aerodymanical design features.
