Since I posted the entry about East German never-weres (wow, it's already over a year ago
) some new interesting materials have been made available on Secretprojects. And here's the result of their availability.

Around 1960-1961 a series of small twin-engined aircraft was designed in
VEB Flugzeugwerke Dresden. Their purpose was support of agriculture - they were crop dusters and light transports in various configurations.

Already before, in 1956, study works were made, both in
VEB Flugzeugwerke Dresden and Dresden Technical University for small jet trainer powered by French Marbore engines (don't ask me how they were going to obtain them). Although in publications quoted on Secretprojects projects shown below are mentioned - and named - separately, I wouldn't be surprised if they were parts of the same program.
