Great work on those Renaults.
Though yes, I think it would be more in spirit of SB/FD rules if at least windows were outlined in black, but at the same time I don't know how it could be done without damaging the esthetical effect, so I guess it has to remain like that.
The FAP 1213 was the model which introduced Mercedes-Benz NG (New Generation) models with FAP FAMOS corporation in 1976. The 1213 was produced under Mercedes-Benz title with Mercedes logo on front, and small black plate on front with title "FAP FAMOS license by Mercedes-Benz". It was known as Yugoslav Mercedes, nicknamed by drivers as "glumac" (Serbo-croatian for actor), as it acted that it is Mercedes, but it was full produced in FAP factory at Priboj. It was used mass in Yugoslavia and also exported to traditional customers in Africa and Asia. It was produced in standard lorry version but also other variants.
The dump truck version - 1213K has letter K in its name for "kiper" (Serbo-croatian for dump truck). Note there are no B, BD letters which are usual in FAP nomenclature.
The 1217S is the tow-truck version of 1213 pulls smaller one-axle semi-trailers. It was not so mass produced due stronger versions of tow-trucks.
(This is the last of FAP models I had plan to replace, the rest will be models I have not post before )
