Thanks, I really need help on how to shade it properly though. Maybe Darth Panda has some ideas? ;)

Not sure what advice to give on the shading, all I know is that blended wing/fuselages are a pain to shade well. You probably want something that is better blended into the top fuselage paler band and make the outline of the wing root clearer. That might help.

Fantastic drawings!

@Colosseum
As for the shading - I don't know about Darth Panda, but I'd apply the "brighter" shade" in all areas above the green line (mind that I applied it only very roughly and don't need to follow it pixel-by-pixel ;) ).

That's not bad at all. I made a revised version yesterday that I'm happy with (finished it before anyone posted sadly). It's a little more minimal than the first iteration and still less than eswube but I think it works. I also cleaned up the shading (making it just 2 pixels in either direction) for the shade and highlight on the rest of the aircraft... I think this produces a more consistent result and it meshes better with the other FD scale work here.

Also, added a version with the later features (countermeasures dispensers aft, updated nozzles, and Sniper pod).

I think eswube's scheme was more or less what I was thinking of, but I think your minimalist style probably is better.
The proof of the pudding is often the finished colour versions which often look quite different than the base greyscale blanks.

I was debating putting this one in the Never Built thread, but Wikipedia says two were converted from regular Ar 234Bs and didn't give any more information on them.
