That looks really nice, Trojan. That's a heck of a tailfin, though, did the F-92 have a lateral instability problem? I know some aircraft *cough* YB-35 *cough* seemed to need the drag from the props to stay straight, becoming worse aircraft once they had jets fitted - similar thing?

As far as I know Ad, the tailfin's large size is a result of a lot of the XF-92's design being essentially a scaled up versions of Alexander Lippish's delta the DM1. Lippish's desings has similarly large tailfins for their size.
It appears the design was actually relatively stable once fitted with wing fences, but underpowered.
