Nice Drawing, but i believe the scaling is wrong....

The drawing looks surprisingly small, for the largest pistonpowered bomber in the world.

First, the easy issues:
The planes windows are indeed "bug-eyed" in most of the variants. That was to increase visibility over many of the earlier WW2 bombers.

Scaling:
Obviously the critical issue! I'll look into it this evening. I'm not sure if it's happening during the conversion from Corel to MS Paint or if it's happening in Photobucket.

I use Corel Draw as I'm familiar with it (use it for Laser kit design, custom decals, and railroad drawing...plus it'll read AutoCAD's .DWG format). And 2) It has layering and far superior line/color control.

What I've not taken the time to do is figure out the proper DPI settings for Shipbucket templates (and FD templates). I could then skip Paint altogether. I needed to learn MS Paint for work, they use it for simple structural inspection drawings and refuse to use a real drafting program.

A quick look suggests the drawing should be scaled to about 133%...give or take. That'll make for fun clean-up.

DPI shouldn't be an issue if you scale it to pixels rather inches/cm.

That's something I'll check tonight. I'm forever changing scales and units in the various software packages so I may have screwed up or forgotten to check on this drawing. Frequently, especially w/ decals I need to design with a particular dpi in mind for a few printing houses artwork standards or even for specific printers. May have gotten stung there.

I'm hoping to decorate the thing and maybe do a variant or two...probably won't do the whole family however.

The length is spot on. I've only got height data for the B-36J (14.22m = 314 pixels, though wiki, via the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force, claims 14.25m) so I can't say for sure, but if the B-36J was taller that would explain the current 12 pixel difference in height. Nice work, I see you've adjusted the gunners' blisters which do look better. I think this looks spot on now and I can't wait to see some paintjobs on this monster. Reminds me of that James Stewart film 'Strategic Air Command' which had tons of external and internal shots of B-36s.

Great work Craig, I think you'll struggle to get a better looking metallic effect than that. Let's see her with some markings!

Very nice but I think the aircraft was referred to as the "Peacemaker", not the "Peacekeeper".

Now that it's complete and proper-sized, it does look a bit bare. It could use some squadron markings - whether you want to do it yourself or have someone else do it for you is up to you.
