Very amazing job eswube on the Ilyushin aircraft, and a similar job from DP on the Mustang.
As I'm no expert, I think that the Russian Mustang looks more like a Curtiss P-40 than a Mustang, but I may be wrong.

USA, TEMCO T-35 Buckaroo

TEMCO's Buckaroo was designed to be a low-cost trainer that was an outgrowth of the earlier GC-1 Swift. It lost to Beech's T-34 for Air Force and Navy primary trainer contracts, but was used in limited numbers by Saudi Arabia. Single examples were evaluated by Italy and Israel.

Five are privately owned and still flying in the US.

That is the early version of the mustang mki, i will post all variants that i have soon.

Good morning. Excellent work Eswube, excellent work Darth Panda, both of you are doing a very fine job! Hi Novice, the soviet Mustang is one of the first ones, probably with an Allison engine, the air intake over the nose and the first style of hinged cockpit (not the ultimate bubble cockpit, nor the Malcolm hood). According to Wikipedia, USSR acquired through Lend-Lease deliveries of the P-51B/C and D series Mustang, , along with other Mustangs abandoned in Russia after the famous "shuttle missions", were repaired and used by the Soviet Air Force but not in front-line service.

According to "Istrebitel Mustang. Vozdushnyi Kadillak" by Vladimir Kotelnikov (Eksmo, Moscow, 2010, p. 22-23), between December 1941 and May 1942 Soviet Union received from Great Britain 10 Mustang Mk.I (with Allison engines). They were trialled at NII VVS but Soviets didn't find them particularly well fitted to their needs (mind that Allison-equipped Mustangs had much different performance envelope than the later and more-famous Merlin-equipped variants - and for that reason RAF used them mostly in long-range recon and to lesser extent fighter-bomber role). In late summer 1942 3 of them were sent to 5 GIAP, but pilots for some reason didn't liked them and they made no operational flights at all. One Mustang ended up in VVS Academy at Zhukovsky, where it was used until 1946 and another one was tranferred to TsAGI.
Some more late-model Mustangs (10+) were abandoned in Soviet Union after the "shuttle missions", like Odysseus1980 mentioned above.

Ah! thank you all for pointing me in the right direction about the Mustang. As I suspected my knowledge of this magnificent aircraft was sorely lacking.
