I'm reading the Secret Projects thread and I see Abe Gubler strikes again. Back when Colo was in charge he wouldn't have lasted 5 seconds in here, and it would've been good riddance. |

There were also talks about Spey-engined F-100 Super Sabre, A-4 Skyhawk and F-8 Crusader, to mention a few. And of course, the Phantom and A-7 got the things anyways. More projects here: http://www.secretprojects.co.uk/forum/i ... 471.0.html
I wasn't aware of a Spey Crusader - I'd of thought the Crusader was already getting old by then; and,of course, getting the Spey into the Phantom was a joke, by the time the British MOD paid for it they could have had all the TSR2's the RAF wanted anyway A lot of these Spey projects sound like 'blue sky thinking by RR sales wallies.

Very interested all these, but I am afraid we lost the point. The Mirage IV-G (28 ordered in 1966,delivered 1967-1969,plus 6 in spares) was identical with French Air Force, minus the nuclear weapons.Load could be 16 X 1000lb bombs,4 X AS-37 Martel,Durandal bombs,21 X 500lb bombs or combination. They had also the twin 2500lt wing tanks. So,a good start would be the French variant (IV-A in metal,IV-A with green/grey camo and IV-P) and please let IV-G to me.Also I have some photos of an AU Mirage IV-AZ (yes,South African),which someone built as a model in 1/72 scale. The Mirage IV-K could follow. |

Next time instead of being lazy, try searching for things, granted the search engine here sucks, but you can find things via Google, that's how I have found stuff I forgot to save the first time I saw it.

Sorry about that. I thought that variants or derivatives of some of the aircraft/vehicles are separate drawings. Won't happen again. |
