Skipping forward in time and setting now, to the 1960s and Army Aviation. The
Grumman OV-1 Mohawk was the jewel of the Lisenian Army's fixed-wing aviation community, performing a multitude of essential and highly dangerous roles throughout its career. Hated by the Air Force and loved by its crews, the Mohawk was a key asset throughout the Cold War, giving the Army a first-rate intelligence platform that saw heavy use in several combat areas.
