I mean since they are technically vehicles...
Metal Gear RAY:
[ img ]
The mass-produced unmanned RAYs as they appear on the Arsenal Gear, with a single "eye"

[ img ]
Liquid's stolen Metal Gears as they appear in MGS4. Since Liquid's modified manned RAY and the unmanned ones all share the same model, these have two "eyes" instead of one.

I decided to do the unmanned RAYs and not the manned prototype mostly because I couldn't find a good enough reference for it. I may or may not do more Metal Gears in the future :D

Great job with that chopper, Sare!

Metal Gear RAY... {drools noisily a la Homer Simpson} Great work RaspingLeech, old thing.

And that Finnish Mozzie is a thing of beauty.

But anyhoo, I've taken on board a few suggestions and modified the Friar self-propelled gun I knocked out recently:

[ img ]

The Mark 3 is a post-War version with an added dozer blade to anchor the thing into the ground and absorb recoil. This being a British weapon, the wartime versions would have made do with either chocks under the tracks like the towed version, or chains and land anchors. Ammunition would be carried separately, with the gun crew crammed into the old Valentine hull. I'm thinking that the Mark 3 would also have a new engine, probably the Meteorite V8.
