If its for surface search then it would be better to either mount it instead of the bomb bay or perhaps mount it in a new solid nose?

Possibly the B-75G Tropic Moon II upgrade for your surface search radar? It had a modified nose from the original Canberra, but it WAS based on the B-57 vs. the British Canberra, so not sure if it would work in your setting or not.
