Just becouse some thing is developted from some other thing doesen't mean you can just "reverse kitbash" the orginal drawing to "prepesent" the system from it was derivied. If you examine closely for K-8 and K-5 you'll notice that despite the somewhat similar appearance they are still very different systems.
In FD scale the same rule applies as in Shipbucket; one cannot kitbash real system/ship/plane/missile ect. from other drawings.
