have you been to the "The Railway Museum" up in Saitama, Tokyo. Quite a nice place.
You also might consider to collect all your drawings under the same topic, for example "Japanese locomotives"
and to make it easier to search in the forum, write search word above the drawing you post, for example:

I have a feeling the undercarriage is lacking details, and there is an scaling issue or the carriage isn't in correct size. Or the lack of details make it looks like it does.
The one EF66 standing in Kyoto railway museum, have a much lighter grey colored undercarriage. But then I have also seen a version with light grey fronts and black undercarriage, as well.
