The green line should be a color with greater contrast because as it stands its practically impossible to see at normal scale.

first of all I would like the discussion on the mk 13 thread here (to not clutter this thread)
second: I have done that because it is not an important line, but only an line that reminds you of the fact that you have to make an foot for it yourself, instead of letting the magazine stick trough the deck.

Since "everybody started to do so" I did it to, just for fun.

And when we come to correct size, the 3"/70 (7.62 cm) Mark 37 is totally off so since i started to update the drawing, I will draw a new version of that gun.

If needed to I can draw with deck penetration guns and more the only things I need is accurate data, drawings:

very nice. I did not know that 'everybody' was considered mainly... well.... me xD
I am happy somebody else picked up though, in the future this will help even kitbashers to make somewhat sensible designs :D

I cannot understand the placement of the green line though, what is in that space?
and the thing on the top red line level is the ammo magazine, I suppose?

The green line is the deck.
Also, the ammo hoist can presumably be both longer or shorter depending on you ship.

One of you can type in additional information as it is not really my thing, I'm only interested in drawing details!.

Ah, good, deck penetration; this might save us from barmy kitbashing.
What if it fits with just minor modifications? Thats not barmy.

:o

ok, so maybe it is.

But, seriously now... showing the deck penetration required for various guns and missile systems is not necessarily a bad idea, especially for those of us who don't know every weapons system in excruciating detail. It needn't be super detailed, perhaps just a dotted line or some such showing how many decks down something goes since the below decks bits ain't shown anyhow. It would save alot of embarrasment and redrawing. Not everybody has the same resources. I know several times I have tried looking something up and maybe didn't put in the correct parameters or something for the search, then ask here and a number of folks will have what was being searched for.
