I apologize if I wasn't clear. I assume you're using the picture of Lion that started from Breyer's book, that shows the front of the turret with a slope to it. For all that his book was incredibly valuable (and still is, in parts), it does have several errors, especially amongst the designs not actually built. One of them is his picture of the G3 battlecruiser with an external belt, for instance. The 14" gun turrets on the King George V class would be the model for the Lion's turrets, and that involves: 1. No blast bags/bloomers on the gun ports. 2. A completely flat front, with no tilt/inclination. The RN had moved away from this in their battleship designs and it was not to make a re-appearance. 3. There would likely be a 'step' with the bottom of the turret faceplate set back from the barbette. While this was not present on KGV's two-gun turret, it was on the four-gun turrets, and would almost certainly be present to a lesser extent. 4. The sides would be relatively featureless, a rangefinder, perhaps a ladder, and little else. 5. The rear of the turret also does not match that of the World War Two Royal Navy designs. 6. The front half to two-thirds of the roof would slope down slightly to meet the top of the faceplate, not be completely flat. 7. The sides of British heavy gun turrets of this design generation were slightly sloped, and had at least one 'break' where there was a visible vertical angle in the metal. While what was on the sheet is incorrect in scale, it, while simplistic, is much closer to what the turrets would have looked like. What you have right now looks very good for an American battleship turret, but it is not what the 16"/45 three-gun turrets on Lion would have looked like. |

No, the turret posted by MitchelLL30 is based on my Wesworld AU 16in turret, Not at all a real-world weapon. |

No, There are few British missiles of note and all can be found on the missiles sheets. Saying that the launchers do need work and this will be done at some point. |
