I can only say Kim...you told me in that private pm that it wouldn't be too good...but this result is truly beyond imagination! To have in such a realistic way reproduced the bronzed surface with allits intricacies is a feat in itself, but to so handsomely depict the Roman Hoplite (to loan a term from Livy!) is just amazing! Indeed, Kim: Nihil Obest...Nothing that can be an obstacle; no barriers! It's a fitting motto even for you, my friend!
Thank you!

I'm glad you like it. In that case, you can look forward to the crest of Audace. The progressing goes well, and in my opinion it will look even better than Arditos (it should be, because it will become my number 75 crest jubilee! )

I've reach a jubilee. My 75th crest is made, and it is the crest for HMS Hood. I've also finish with what I consider as my new masterpiece: The crest for MM Audace! Her they are:

Thanks Novice
I'm more satisfied with this than the crest for Ardito. I'll guess my work with Ardito's badge is the reason this one succeeded so well. But I will hope some admiral from Marina Militare reads this: Make italian naval crest in colours! These bronze badges are harder to draw than a mighty battle cruiser in Shipbucket
