Hi Heuhen! I've got a project right now including matrix for the Royal Norwegian Navy. I'll promise you they will be ready before the weekend ;)

Well, I did not post my opposition to house flags, funnel bands etc. in an offensive manner, so maybe the overeaction from one member is a bit o.t. ? And I do use ships crests myself and find that in the appropriate size they add to the drawing. This is my concern though, that once folk can post additions to drawings that are not on the actual ship or whatever, the template becomes cluttered and is no longer in the spirit of Shipbucket. I would prefer to see this discussion relate more to deciding standard sizes for crests, the smaller one seems fine to me, and the larger one is more the subject for consideration. :)

As I promised Heuhen I've made a matrix (in fact two) for the Royal Norwegian Navy before the weekend. I've also made my first norwegian badge which of course was the badge of KNM Tordenskjold, a vessel named after the famous norwegian Peter Wessel the greatest naval hero in both Norway and Denmark ;)

:? Hmmm :!: :?: I don't know if I shall be proud or be disappointed. My crest for the greek vessel A470 Aliakmon has been taked and used - of course with change of text in the head - on the official Hellenic Naval homepage to A464 Aksios. Proud because it means that the greeks thinks it's well done, disappointed because it's without credit for either shipbucket or my self :?

Odysseus, I've got a problem. I'd succeed to find the badge of D218 Kimon and maybe for D221 Themistoklis if she had the same crest as F465 Themistoklis have now. But it hasn't been possible for me to find crest's for D219 Nearhos or D220 Phormion. Can you - or someone else - help :?:

This link has some of the Greek navy badges. If you press each line you'll get the badge of each ship or unit. These are called 'Shields' in the English text of the site.
