It's going to be huge! Nice idea though

I will wait untill tomorrow if anyone has proposals for improvements. Then I will made nations threads with dynamic CoA parts sheets, which ability lays in the possibility always adding new crest in alphabetical order :!: ;)

I think there's too much wasted space right now. Also the way information is organized doesn't make it any easier to read 'cause you need to jump from column to column and up and down... I would make it more compact and convenient to grasp, something like this:

It's a quick sketch just to explain the idea.
The mini-version of a crest is often not available, so it does not require a dedicated area.
The information put in neat rows is pretty much self-explanatory and also easier to edit IMO.

I think Class name deserves a separate column. While the ship name doesn't need to be in a column at all, because it is always the same for a given crest.

You're right about the name, but maybe I should have used another country to illustrate my idea. It's not all crest's which have the vessels name on. The class name was a bonus info I added in brackets, if anyone have doubts of different vessels with samme name, but I had it as a minor issue. I try to keep the balance between need to know and nice to know, because my idea was to help the bucketeers to find the right badge, if it was already drawn.

Suggestion: No more than two CoAs wide on an image.

Edit: And definitively not any wider than three.

In this case you'll have to combine images with raw text so it could be found with the forum's search engine.

Anyhow, in your template the data is represented pretty poorly: the vertical lines visually split it up which makes it much more difficult to read and edit. For example in order to add a little bonus info such as a class name you had to use smaller font and cramp it down in two or three lines. The wide column for the ship name is going to be 90% empty for 90% of crests.

Now, compare it to my sketch: one crest, one ship name in big font - these are the two things that matter the most. No vertical lines so the history of the crest is easy to read. And even with a log history there's always enough room underneath it to squeeze a bonus mini-crest and/or other info.

Please don't get me wrong, I'm not picking on your design and I don't mean to criticize it just because I'm a little snobbish on the topic.
I'm just trying to make it look better for everyone because this project of yours really might turn into a huge heraldic guide so it needs to be planned through from the beginning. Besides, I have some experience designing user interfaces and representing all kinds of data so my opinion is more or less professional ;)
